Will Makowski created and completed his interdisciplinary PhD at Virginia Tech, in 2023, which combined the disciplines of entrepreneurship, injury biomechanics, mechanical engineering, and industrial design.

Our mission is to create tailored protective equipment that empowers extreme end users within cycling to push beyond their current limits. A commitment to this foundational principle allows us to: 1.) Develop cycling infrastructure that is more accessible for all, starting with Roanoke. 2.) Leverage our core competencies in design, injury biomechanics, and manufacturing to provide the best head protection for other cyclists, extreme end users in other risk-taking activities, as well as those who work in other industries where there is risk, such as military and aerospace.
